Facchianos started out of necessity for a store that caters to the Brides of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The owner, while planning her own wedding 24 years ago had the hardest time finding a dress.  The stores were not friendly, the styles were not very fashionable, and the experience was ordinary at best.  Then when she went back to her hometown of New York City, she was told to go to Kleinfeld's in Brooklyn by a family member.  They told her she would be able to find a wedding dress there because they were fantastic.  So away she went on a trip to NYC to visit Kleinfeld's and find her the wedding dress of her dreams.
